I am Navit and I have worked with people helping them to overcome their difficulties for the past 10 years. I provide a non-judgemental and open space for you to talk about your problems, help you to fully understand what is going on in your life and why you feel the way you do. I will help you to motivate and empower yourself to achieve your goals at your own pace.
I have helped many clients with a range of issues such as low self-esteem, depression, social anxiety, worry/generalised anxiety, panic attacks, agoraphobia, phobias, post-traumatic stress disorder, body image issues, stress management, work-based issues and more.
The ultimate aim is for you to have the skills and techniques to become your own therapist so that you can become independent and empowered to deal with life difficulties if or when they occur in the future.
I have worked mainly within the NHS as a therapist, manager and supervisor as well as in private practice where there is more flexibility to provide therapy suited to each client's individual needs. I also work with a university training new CBT therapists, which ensures that my knowledge of CBT and developing treatments remains up-to-date.
I am qualified and fully accredited by the BABCP.
